What is hypnosis really?
Hypnosis is a natural state of mental absorption so strong that you briefly stop paying attention to what is happening around you. You are in hypnosis/trance when you are daydreaming, intensely concentrating, watching television, and drifting in and out of sleep. You do not become unconscious, have amnesia, or lose control. You are in control the entire time and simply become deeply relaxed, as you would in meditation.
