Orientations and Tips During Pregnancy

1- Do physical activity at least 2 or 3 times a week with
authorization of the obstetrician.
2- During sleep, the ideal form is to lie at your side, using a
cushion between your legs. It is advisable to lie on your left
side, as lying on your right side and/or back side presses the
cava inferior veil and the aorta making the blood circulation

3- Do massages and perineal exercises using vegetable oil. The
perineal massage helps prevent episiotomy and perineal

4- Avoid very hot showers or saunas to avoid possible

5- Avoid strenuous sports or exercise
6- Avoid long and tiring travels.
7- Avoid heavy eating. Even though you are eating for two people, don’t eat for two people.
Observe and monitor nutritional intake.
8- Avoid excessive work and abrupt movements. Move your feet in circular movements to prevent
cramps.
9- Practice breathing exercises and keep yourself relaxed. Try to get at least two relaxation
(meditation) sessions per week.
10- Disregard old wives tales and superstition
